Looks like Kelly’s in jail.  Not for long, though, as August 14th is right around the corner, isn’t it?

  1. I would like to know how his being incarcerated affects the return of our investments. Is there any sequence here that’s going to lead to any kind of conviction retribution and return of our money?

  2. Big deal! $2200 fine and 15 months in a federal vacation resort for bilking millions of dollars of hard earned money from hundreds of people. Not a bad investment from the Ng’s perspective. The system is broken! But sadly I’m not really shocked as our problems are magnified at the uppermost levels of our current national leaders……

  3. What has happened to the website with the class action suit? I have followed this faithfully however, the last few weeks it won’t load. Have they changed it? Please help…

    • I answered my own question. Effective immediately, the Alameda Courts are now charging a fee to access the court records. This is very upsetting, since I have followed the class action from the beginning. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay for each page I want to read in the case.

  4. Has anyone heard yet When and Where the hearing on Wells/greenburg is going to be…notice just said possiably end of July…I sure do not understand our legal system..We have been waiting years for some justice and they still have to have a hearing to decide if we qualify for class action… the whole system is rigged for the crooks..We were robbed..plain and simple.. Victims live in poverty in our old age and the crooks are still enjoying their life..and probably getting bonus at Wells..
And now the Supreme Court wants to make it harder and more expensive for cases like ours to qualify for class action suits..These people have no connection with reality…How would they feel if their life savings and
pensions were ripped off . and they had to try and survive on social security..Especially after all the years of Walter telling us how safe our investmens were..They took all my money, my childrens and grandchildrens and seven years of my life waiting for justice…

  5. found the answer.More waiting… there are hearings set for July 30 and August 5..but subject to change..
The Court will set a schedule for briefing on the class certification issue once Plaintiffs have filed their initial motion papers. The discovery process will continue while the class certification motion is being briefed and decided by Judge Hernandez. Plaintiffs’ motion for class certification will be posted on their website as soon as it is filed with the Court. It is anticipated that the Court will not rule on Plaintiffs’ motion for at least 60-90 days after it is filed. You will receive a formal notice from the Court if and when class certification is granted.
